在国家863计划、国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金及广东省高水平大学建设经费资助下,陈志强教授带领的国家植物航天育种工程技术研究中心(简称“中心”)研究团队在关注重大品种选育及产业化应用的同时,也高度重视与育种紧密关联的产量、品质、抗性等农艺性状的遗传解析工作,将理论研究与育种实践紧密结合,有效提升了水稻新品种选育效率。这些年来,中心利用航天搭载突变体材料、特异种质鉴定筛选,在品质、抗性等性状的分子机理研究工作上取得重要进展。“十三五”开局至今,中心已发表SCI论文9篇,其中在农林科学1区刊物《Rice》上发表了题为《High-resolution QTLmapping for grain appearance traits and co-localization ofchalkiness-associated differentially expressed candidate genes in rice》,该论文利用简化基因组测序和基因表达谱分析,精细定位了一批与水稻籽粒发育密切相关的QTL,并开发出相应分子标记应用于育种实践。除此以外,中心关于高通量基因分型技术、理想株型、稻瘟病抗性等相关研究工作先后发表在《Molecular Breeding》、《Biochemical andBiophysical Research Communications》、《Plos One》、《Frontiers in Plant Science》等期刊上,所取得的研究成果有力促进了中心育种理论水平的提高,对加快水稻新品种培育具有重大的推动作用。此外,也有利支撑了华南农业大学高水平大学优势学科群的建设工作。
